Pivot Charter School in Riverview, Florida, offers a dedicated Exceptional Student Education (ESE) program designed to support students with disabilities through tailored instruction, collaborative family partnerships, and inclusive, high-quality educational planning. Our certified ESE staff work closely with students, families, and teachers to help each child reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.

What is ESE at Pivot?

Pivot’s ESE program provides individualized support and services—including Individualized Education Plan (IEP), 504 plans, Gifted Individualized Education Plan (GIEP), and Student English Language Learner Plans—for students who qualify under state guidelines. Our certified team ensures that all eligible learners receive academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support in a caring, inclusive environment.

How We Support Our Students

At Pivot Charter School, we believe that every student deserves the tools and support they need to thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally. Our services include:

  • Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans:

    • We work closely with families to develop and implement personalized plans that address each student's unique needs and ensure they receive the appropriate accommodations and services.

    • Our experienced Exceptional Student Education staff partners with teachers and families to provide targeted support and promote student growth.
